See us at Autosport

There’ll be a warm welcome for visitors to our stand at Autosport Engineering, the ‘show-within-a-show’ at Autosport International.  The two-day specialist high-performance engineering show (NEC, Birmingham, January 9th and 10th) is regarded by industry figureheads as one of the most important events in the calendar, showcasing leaders in technology.

“And we’re very much part of the high-performance engineering technology industry,” says Paul Atkin, general manager of business development.  “This show is important for Bruntingthorpe.  A significant number of our regular clients made contact with us as a result of visiting us at previous Autosport Engineering shows.

“Some of those clients will join us at the annual MIA Awards dinner, held in conjunction with the show, where we take the opportunity to entertain customers who have discovered the many facilities and benefits we offer.”

Dramatic footage of Nissan’s striking Zeod electric race car, which will run in the special class for experimental technology vehicles at the LeMans 24-hour race in June, is being shown on our stand.  Filmed, during development, at Bruntingthorpe, Zeod embraces similar battery technology to that found in the Nissan Leaf.  Much of the car’s technology remains under wraps.  But expect a small, lightweight turbocharged engine, regenerative braking and speeds in excess of 185mph.

“Our goal for the [Zeod] programme is to draw back the curtain for fans to see the innovative technology that Nissan is developing,” said Darren Cox, Nissan’s Global Motorsport Director.

Do come and have a peep through those curtains on our stand – and learn a lot more about what Bruntingthorpe can offer you and your business.
